ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT – S. Nagindas & Company Pte Limited

S. Nagindas & Company Pte Limited is a Market Leader in Fiji’s Clothing Retail with 12 Stores and E-Commerce Websites. We are looking for energetic and self-motivated individual to join S Nagindas Finance Department based at the Head Office in Navakai, Nadi.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for the general administrative and finance support to ensure effective and efficient operations in the finance department for S. Nagindas & Company Pte Limited.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Calculate and analyse costs associated with local and overseas products including raw materials, labour, shipping, duty and other relevant expenses.
• Collaborate with the procurement and logistics team to gather accurate cost data and ensure that all costs are accounted for.
• Generate and issue invoices for staff and wholesale customers ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policy.
• Verify that all relevant information such as product details, pricing, quantities and client information is correctly reflected on invoices.
• Liaise with sales and accounts receivable team to ensure timely invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Manage reconciliation of invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Maintaining historical records by filing documents and reports.
• Any other duties assigned by the Financial Controller.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Diploma in Accounting/Finance required from a recognized institution.
• Prior experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills with ability to work independently in teams.
• Commitment towards deadlines and has the initiative to go above and beyond expectation.
