RETAIL STORE MANAGER – Universal Electronics

Your responsibilities include:

• Driving sales to achieve and exceed budget for your store.
• Emphasizing, merchandising and sales techniques to grow sales within the store.
• Focusing on store development and implementation of set activities for your store.
• Communicating sales budgets to your team and refocusing as required.
• Leading by example through all store procedures to ensure the store is managed effectively.
• Providing training to and supporting the development of your team members.
• Identifying and managing areas of underperformance in the store and working with your team and Area Manager to improve their skills.
• Managing general store expenses, petty cash and expenditure.
• Rostering and payroll approval responsibilities.

Experience Required

• Previous store management experience in retail to lead your team to success.
• A passion for the outdoors and technology to enhance the customer experience. IT, Solar, CCTV knowledge a must. 
• Confident communication skills to support customers and team members appropriately.
• Excellent time management skills and experience in dealing with multiple priorities.
• A drive to succeed and grow within the business.

Qualifications 

• Must have an undergraduate qualification.
