Oceania Gas is a premium Company in Fiji and specializes in Gases, Welding and Cutting, Welding Consumables and Gas Equipment’s.  Oceania Gas seeks dynamic and extremely results-oriented, self-driven individuals to join the team

 VACANCY: Retail Sales Reprehensive – Head Office (Lami) & Lautoka Branch

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the incumbent, will be responsible for assisting with branch operations.

Key Deliveries:

•   Greet Customers in a friendly and professional manner.
•   Assist customers with product inquiries, pricing and recommendations.
•   Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
•   Provide product demonstrations or explanations as needed.
•   Actively promote and upsell products or services to customers.
•   Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
•   Stay informed about product features, benefits and promotions.
•   Implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
•   Process customer orders accurately and efficiently on SAP & Track-about Software.
•   Handle cash transactions and provide appropriate change.
•   Maintain a neat and organized counter area which will lead to professionalism.
•   Verify and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability is organized and assured.
•   Stock management and credit noted shall be managed as well.
•   Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends.
•   Provide information on product specifications, uses and benefits.
•   Educate customers on new products or services.
•   Display items with correct price tag and keep shelves filled with stocks.
•   Cash and COD sales reconciliations should be matched off daily and banking money deposits must be on time and with no discrepancies.

.  Open sales orders and back-order verification report needs to be also monitored.

The ideal candidates must possess the following attributes –

•   Minimum 1–2-year experience in retail sales field.
•   Strong attention to details and accuracy in handing inventory and others.
•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•   Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
•   Computer knowledge, strong leadership and people management skills.
•   Must have a clean police clearance record.
•   Must have clean Group 2 driving license
•   Group 6 & 9 will be an added advantage to the position.
