Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

The Role 

Pepper Advantage Hub (Fiji) is seeking a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for managing specific projects assigned, overseeing the coordination of project resources, and managing regional project responsibilities. This role provides leadership to the projects team, ensuring effective project management and successful project delivery. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will coach and mentor project team members on best practices in project management disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Project deliverables and identified benefits are delivered for the project owner, organisation staff, stakeholders and customers.
• Where required for major projects, perform the role of implementation manager for Build, install and review stages of a project.
• Co-ordinate projects ensuring regular reporting and tracking.
• Prepare project budget and stage gate approvals where necessary.
• Plan, manage and develop project resources
• Control, manage and report issues, risks, dependencies and changes in scope.
• Manage vendor and suppliers’ deliverables to the project.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and promote best practices in project management.

Skills and experience required:

• Qualification: Project Management Professional Certified.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Directly working on medium to large complex technology projects.
• Well organised and capable of working in a fast paced work environment.
• Have a good understanding of risk and operational management procedures.
• You will have strong technical skills, knowledge in process system constructs, process modelling and data analysis, have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• You are able to work with teams across multiple jurisdictions toward achievement of a common goal.
• Brings a high level of energy and enthusiasm to the role, motivating and inspiring the team to excel.
