If you’d like to embrace a wider world of experiences and opportunities, we’d like to welcome you to the world’s most international luxury hotel brand as a Painter; a key role in our dynamic engineering team assisting with the Resort’s maintenance program. This role ensures all necessary repairs and preventative maintenance are carried for the resort.

Your day to day

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who know how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations. Ideally you will:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and patching to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Select and mix paints, primers, and coatings to match desired colours and specifications, demonstrating a keen eye for detail.
  • Apply paint using various techniques, such as brushing, rolling, or spraying, to achieve a high-quality and consistent finish.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate painting projects and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during all painting activities.
  • Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment, ensuring their proper functionality and longevity.
  • Promptly report workplace hazards, injuries or “near misses” to your immediate Supervisor or Manager.
  • To provide quality customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • To perform all tasks in a safe and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high standard of departmental work practices.
  • To carry out planned maintenance of hotel systems and structures.
  • To carry out corrective maintenance of guestrooms and equipment through the PMM Program
  • To carry out painting of Guest Rooms and other areas as required.
  • To assist Engineering team members in all tasks as required
What we need from you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 years of work experience in a similar role at a similar 5-star resort setting.
  • Commitment to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Oral and written fluency in English.
  • Outgoing and people oriented.
  • Certificate and trade in Painting
  • Able to multi-task and ability to handle stressful situations
