JUNIOR ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER – Nabua Road, Suva, Fiji

Vuvale Outsourcing Pte LTD in Suva City is looking for a Junior Accounts Payable Officer to join their 50-person team.

In Fiji, we operate a professional purpose-fitted work environment in Nabua Suva, with local Human Resources management and transport home for evening shifts. You will be a part of the 50-strong BDE Group Fiji team, but also part of an overall international team.

The ideal candidate will have 1- 3 years hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Administration or Stock Management (preferably in the Retail Industry).

Basis: Permanent Full-time
Roster: Monday to Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Processing and approval of AP invoices in REDMAP ensuring Invoice number, Supplier, Store number and amount are accurate (conforming invoices)
• Reconciliation of Suppliers’ statements, including review of aged creditors listing
• Liaising with Suppliers, Stores and Quality Assurance team, to resolve AP queries, discrepancies and/or old outstanding invoices as an AP function
• Responsible for “raising tickets” for REDMAP technical issues
• Processing manual invoices, including but not limited to type I (Normal invoice), P (Purchase Order), S (Shipment), R (Goods return) and C (claims- paper and bulk).
• Monitor Accounts Payable mailbox to ensure queries are actioned in a timely manner
• Attend to Accounts incoming calls and ensure queries/ discrepancies are actioned in a timely manner
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

1. 1+ years hands on AP experience, or Finance Admin / Stock Control.
2. Tertiary qualification in Finance or related fields
3. Experience with large ERP system (Pronto strongly regarded)
4. Experience with REDMAP highly regarded
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills
6. Ability to work within a team
7. Able to work independently with a remote team in Australia.
