About the Role:

• Support Business Growth: Collaborate with the Financial Controller to drive growth initiatives and optimize financial strategies.
• Team Management: Lead a team consisting of a Group Accountant and a Project Accountant to ensure effective financial operations.
• Financial Oversight: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive financial performance.
• Reporting Excellence: Ensure the timely issue of monthly reporting packs for the Group and subsidiaries.
• Statutory Payments Review: Review all statutory payments, including BAS, payroll tax, and workers’ compensation.
• Strategic Partnership: Work closely with the management team to implement strategic initiatives and drive financial performance.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with regulatory and corporate standards.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Foster collaboration across departments to align financial strategies with company goals.

About You:

• 2-3 years of finance management experience, preferably in construction.
• CPA qualification; Big 4 experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills are essential.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
