ROLE OVERVIEW

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the invoicing, billing, and collections processes for our clients. You will ensure accurate and timely processing of payments, resolve discrepancies, and assist in maintaining a smooth cash flow within the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Checking and verifying booking sales and costing.
  • Reconciling and applying credits to customer’s account.
  • Liaising with customers on account queries.
  • Filing accounting reports and dispatching billings.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records for auditing purposes.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Tour Plan system and MYOB will be ideal.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts receivable or similar financial role. Experience in a tourism-related accounting environment would be desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
  • Attention to detail and have audit skills; and excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work with minimal supervision and long hours if required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve discrepancies independently.
  • Customer-focused, with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Highly organized and able to manage time efficiently.
  • A team player with a collaborative approach to work.
