FINANCE MANAGER – Fletcher Higgins

Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

We’re seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the Higgins team based in Nadi. This is a full time, permanent role.

Partner with the Country Manager to provide advice and support on all finance related matters within our Fiji business alongside leading a team of up to 10 direct and indirect reports.

You’ll get involved in diverse range of financial activities including ownership and accountability for monthly business and board reports, prepare annual budgets, manage banking relationships, develop & maintain financial controls framework plus a variety of other finance and management related tasks.

About you

This is a hands-on role so we are looking for a quick thinker who can solve issues, has high attention to detail and provide accurate information promptly. You’ll also bring with you:

• Experience in a similar role
• Chartered accountant or equivalent
• 10+ years post qualification practical accounting experience  
• Experience in the construction/infrastructure industry is highly desirable
• Strong accounting systems experience and aptitude
• Highly organised, ability to prioritise with excellent communication skills
• Team leadership experience
• Excellent English language skills
