The Role 

Pepper Advantage Hub (Fiji) is seeking for an experienced professionals to support our mortgage originations and credit assessment operations. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in mortgage credit, coupled with an in-depth understanding of mortgage processes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality credit assessment and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess mortgage applications to ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial documents and credit reports to determine applicant eligibility.
• Provide accurate and timely credit decisions, ensuring adherence to company guidelines.
• Collaborate with originations teams to support smooth processing of mortgage applications.
• Maintain detailed and organized documentation for all credit assessments.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in mortgage credit.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize credit assessment processes.

Skills and experience required:

• Candidate needs to be flexible in terms of working hours (Ideally from 8 pm to 4.30 am FJT)
• Proven experience in mortgage credit assessment and originations.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial information.
• Proficiency in using credit assessment tools and software.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain credit decisions clearly.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
