Due to the success and growth of our air/sea freight business, applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced person for the below strategic positions to further provide support for our service deliveries at our Suva and Nadi Office.

CUSTOMS AND FORWARDING CLERK – NADI

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain release of cargo from Shipping and Airline agencies
• Arrange inspection of cargo with relevant regulatory authorities
• Co-ordinate labor and equipment hire for clearance and delivery of import cargo
• Deliver documents, and shipment, between establishment departments, and to other establishments and clients
• Follow-up on payment logistics
• Payment of disbursements to third party on behalf of clients and dispatch of receipts for payment to office
• Liaise with Shipping and Airline agencies for all customs and forwarding issues & charges
• Co-ordinate with relevant authorities (Ports, FRCA, BAF, Health, Airlines, etc.) to ensure efficient clearance of all import / export shipments.

Qualification and Experience:

• Diploma in Customs or relevant qualification
• At least 18 months experience in a similar role
• Exceptional IT skills, especially with spreadsheets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Mature, understanding, and exceptional customer service skills
• Must have a valid group 2 driving license.
• Must be a customs authorized clerk.
