We are looking for a dynamic individual to join us as an Engineering and Reliability Manager based at the Crest Processing Plant in Colo-I-Suva.

• Driving ‘Best Practice’ for the Crest Processing Plant and providing key leadership on process efficiency, waste reduction and innovation.
• Designing and implementing maintenance strategies that include preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance approaches that focus on reducing unplanned downtime and maximising asset reliability.
• Leading and executing change management activities and fostering a proactive mindset towards equipment maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborating with maintenance teams to establish and manage an effective preventive and predictive maintenance program, focusing on optimizing equipment reliability and maximizing productivity.
• Driving project management, downtime reviews and analysis, and looking to continuously improve equipment reliability.
• Managing R & M budgets and Maintenance Labour Budgets related to maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and reliability improvement projects.
• Providing coaching, training programs and support to maintenance-and operations teams to ensure proper execution of maintenance plans and practices and driving the targets required to deliver safety, quality, and cost objectives.
• Staying updated with industry trends and technological advancements in maintenance management and engineering.
• Fostering effective communication and collaboration with other departments and sites, such as production, quality assurance and other support functions.

What we are looking for:

• A tertiary engineering qualification or trade qualification in Engineering is desirable.
• 10 years of maintenance engineering experience.
• Proven skills in a leadership role.
• Experience working in a poultry processing facility would be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
