PICKERS/PACKERS – Superstore

Qualifications:

High school certificate or equivalent.

Experience Requirement:

• Physical strength and stamina, making it best suited for those comfortable with demanding manual labor shift work.

Basic understanding of warehouse operations and order fulfillment processes.

• Familiarity with retail environments is an advantage.

Job Summary:

The Picker and Packer is responsible for handling the movement and placement of heavy items on and off shelves while operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure warehouse environment. The role requires physical strength and stamina, making it best suited for those comfortable with demanding manual labor shift work.

Key Responsibilities:

Move heavy items to and from the shelves.

• Package products securely to prevent damage during transportation.

Print and affix sales order number for ease of package identification for delivery to customer.

• Have an eye for stock levels to ensure stock availability of retail shelves.

Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillments.

Strictly follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines during picking and packing operations. Report any damaged or defective items to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Key Skills:

Ability to lift, pick & pack heavy products safely.

Familiarity with warehouse software and use of mobile scanners.

Good math skills for counting and verifying stock.

Reliable with a strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

This role is based on shift work and may require overtime during peak season.
