The Organisation

Dynamic Supply Company Limited (Dynamic) is the leading wholesale supplier of food products to commercial kitchens throughout Vanuatu, including resorts, restaurants and cruise liners. We have a retail store to further support our wholesale customers, and to supply the local consumer market. In addition, our butchery business processes a full range of high-quality meat products for all our customer segments.

Dynamic has been a strong presence in the Vanuatu market for over 9 years and has experienced a period of growth since the COVID years. We are looking to expand our business further and build a great team to enable this growth, to realize our potential and take Dynamic successfully towards a prosperous future.

The Position

The General Manager (GM) will be responsible to:

• Lead, grow and mature the business, and to ultimately improve the return on shareholder value and capital employed.
• Be a strategic thinker and problem solver to deliver the business strategy. It is a unique operating environment in Vanuatu with much potential, so resilience and adaptability are key required attributes.
• Prepare the monthly board reports and attends all Dynamic Board meetings, joining the two joint owners and an independent chairman.
• Oversee the day to day running of the business, ensuring efficient management of the supply chain, logistics, sales, financials, customer experience and personnel.
• Drive business growth, maintain customer relationships, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with food safety standards, and driving good health and safety protocols.

Fundamentally, this role leads and grows the business, requiring a leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on management.

Essential Selection Criteria

► 10+ years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in food distribution or a related industry.

► Strategic planning skills and experience, working collaboratively with directors and senior management.

► Strong and proven people leadership and commercial skills

► Experience and success in growing a business
