WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT – CJ Patel

Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Viti Foods Pte Limited is a subsidiary  of CJ Patel Group of Companies and we specialize in manufacturing canned tuna and mackerel products for local and export markets. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Warehouse Assistant to be based at our manufacturing plant in Laucala Beach Estate, Suva.

Key Responsibilities:

This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and will be involved in a variety of activities including but not limited to:

• Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring physical stock is in line with the inventory management system.
• Ensure timely & accurate stock movement, receipting and system entries.
• Manage & monitor storage and damaged stocks.
• Ensure accuracy and timely recording of goods received
• Coordinate with stock controller and manage the dispatch of inventory and adhereance to internal processes
• Assist with daily and monthly stocktakes.

 Position Requirements:

• At least 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role preferably within a manufacturing plant
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Must be computer literate and have strong attention to detail and Microsoft excel knowledge
• Physically fit and ability to carry out manual handling
• Ability to work under minimum supervision and have strong work ethics
