EXPORT AND LOGISTICS COORDINATOR – Oceania Gas

Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Oceania Gas is the leading manufacturing of industrial, medical and food grade gasses. We are the authorized distributor of BOC gasses, industrial safety and welding products in the south pacific.

Position Available: Export and Logistics Coordinator

The role’s objective is to deliver growth in export revenue by providing an excellent level of service to our existing and potential customers and stay communicative on all related logistics timelines. In addition, we need to optimize our product range offer to these customers and shipments. 

This role will directly report to the Supply chain Manager of Oceania Gas Limited.

Responsibilities:

• Stay active to manage all related logistics related to order receipt, 
• Implement customer services skills to ensure friendly work ethics.
• Ensure accuracy of track-about and sap transactions are complete as per SOP.
• Assist with promotion and dead stock.
• Effective communication between Production and Bulk store to ensure we secure the maximum potential container loading, in a timely manner.  

•         Assist Credit team with any disputes or complaints.

Interactions:

External: Export Customers, Shipping Agents, Suppliers, Customs

Internal: Operations Team, Management Teams in Fiji and Samoa, Supply Chain Team, Finance and Credit Team

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in logistics coordination or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
