What is the job?

Are you passionate about working in a world-class hotel brand, setting-up, clearing and washing of a day’s cutleries, utensils, pots & pans? We’re looking for a Steward Supervisor who would fit in well with this role.

A little taste of your day-today:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Supervise in cleaning and sanitizing plate ware, silverware, glassware, pots & pans, utensils and equipment, and work area in a timely manner.
• Supervise in set up of work-stations as required to include filling dish machine, checking chemical levels, pre-soaking, and gathering required set-up equipment for appropriate work stations.
• Supervise in the operation of dishwashing machine to manufacturer specifications and instructions.
• Assist in the daily operations of the Stewarding Department.
• Check the working condition of equipment and machinery in accordance with specifications. Inform Manager of hazardous situations, emergencies or threats to the security of guests, employees or hotel assets.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• May assist with other duties as assigned.

What we need from you:

• Diploma in Hotel Management, or related field preferred.  
• 2 years’ experience in the Stewarding field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Very good command of English.
• A people-oriented leader would be someone perfectly suited for this role.
