Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and implementing OHS policies and procedures as per HASAWA 1996.
- Conducting inspections, risk assessments, accident investigations, and solution recommendations.
- Maintaining a risk register and accident records.
- Conducting training and awareness sessions on health and safety issues.
- Preparing and presenting reports identifying trends.
- Recommending and implementing safety standard improvements.
- Ensuring strict monitoring of safety regulations at workplaces.
- Conducting safety inspections, investigations, and HSE audits at all FPTL sites.
- Monitoring and auditing workers’ compensation claims and reporting findings to management.
Qualification and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in OHS or completion of OHS module I to IV.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing OHS systems and procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge.
