PACKING OFFICER – Apco Coatings

The Role:

The Packing Officer will be responsible for overseeing the packaging process of finished products, including ensuring that finished products are available as per plan, items are properly prepared for shipment by adhering to quality standards, following established procedures, and maintaining accurate records while supervising the packing team. Duties include:

•           Optimize the daily or periodic production program as per monthly production plan.
•       Ensure zero incident and provide proper safety equipment in coordination with EHS
•       Maintain cleanliness of production areas, maintenance & follow up of products & batch changeover procedures. Sustain 5S
•       Utilize manpower, machinery, and materials as per plan to improve productivity.
•       Liaison with Engineering team for breakdown and planned maintenance of the machinery and equipment’s of the section and servicing facilities.
•       Improve awareness among the workforce regarding safety of the plant and personnel as per Company & Government guidelines.
•       Maintain and update relevant documents of the section as per APG guidelines.
•       Arrange RM-PMs in coordination with Supply Chain to avoid stockout
•       Ownership for stock variance and submit proper justification for any variance. Also take initiative to minimize RM-PMs handling loss.
•       Maintain proper logbook regarding internal cleaning solvent and submit the data accordingly.
•       Prepare capex proposal for production department with proper justification.
•       Adhere to ISO 9001, 140001 and 450001 standards

 Qualifications & Attributes:

•               Demonstrated work experience in a similar role. A relevant academic qualification will be an advantage.
•               Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with ability to process data and prepare reports using Excel.
