BEEKEEPER – Kokomo Resorts Pte Ltd

 Kokomo Private Island Fiji is a luxurious paradise committed to sustainability and the preservation of our natural environment. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Beekeeper to join our team and help us maintain our bee colonies.

 Responsibilities:

• 
    Coordinate and maintain beehives to ensure the health and productivity of bee colonies.
•   Inspect hives regularly for signs of diseases, pests, and overall hive health.
•   Harvest honey and other bee products in a sustainable and ethical manner.
•   Implement and monitor pest control measures to protect the hives.
•   Educate Guests and staff about the importance of bees and beekeeping.
•   Oversee Honey production and harvesting.
•   Collaborate with our sustainability team to integrate beekeeping practices in to our Eco-friendly initiatives.
•   Your primary role as a beekeeper is integral, in addition to other secondary roles as and when requested by the Farm manager.

 Requirements: 

•   Proven experience in beekeeping with strong understanding of bee biology and hive management.
•   Knowledge of sustainable and ethical beekeeping practices.
•   Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
•   Passion for environmental conservation.
•   Willingness to relocate to Kokomo Private Island.
•   Valid Driving License- Group 2 (optional)
•   First Aid & Fire Warden Certification is desirable
