Goolma Ltd operates Paradise Cove Resort, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort & Octopus Resort and is based in the Yasawa Islands. Our resorts have talented teams and we are looking to enhance this with other like minded individuals who share a passion for tourism and guest satisfaction.
We are looking for suitably qualified applicants for the following role to join our Island team.
Marine Mechanic
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Marine Mechanic (minimum 3 years) within A 5 Star Environment Is Preferred
- Expertise in maintaining outboard motors (Yamaha engines preferred).
- Strong understanding of marine electrical systems and hydraulic repairs.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in marine mechanics are an advantage.
- Familiarity with Fijian waters and MSAF is a plus.
- Ability to work a 24 on 8 off roster.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Able to adapt to island living
