Your day to day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Plant and maintain seasonal plants, hedges around the spa area
• Maintenance of any garden features, e.g. planting, checking drains.
• Weed control Seasonal bulb planting Maintenance of all driveways, footpaths, terraces and tracks.
• Monitor and maintain the health of plants.
• Deal with pest problems that could damage plants.
• Keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter.
• The maintenance of equipment, keeping machinery in good working condition and undertaking any minor repairs.

What we need from you

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team members who know how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations & provide a high-level of service excellence to our resort guests. The ideal candidate is to possess the following:

• Experienced as a Gardener.
• Physical aptitude to working outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions.
• Familiarity with landscaping design.
• Knowledge of regional plant life would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of local pests and how to eliminate them.
• Knowledge of synthetic and natural fertilizer.
• 3 years of work experience in a similar role at a similar 5-star resort setting.
• Commitment to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays. 
• Great communication skills.
• Outgoing and people oriented.
• Able to multi-task and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Look smart – wear your uniform with pride.
