JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Perform day to day invoicing of job cards, sales quotes, etc. on MYOB.
- Receipt payments received from clients honestly.
- Update customer statements and email the same in a timely manner.
- Request for supplier statements to process invoices and payments in a timely manner.
- Reconcile account statements for both local and overseas suppliers.
- Prepare and reconcile petty cash and banking.
- Follow up on debtors and provide frequent updates on the same to the Accounts Manager & Managing Director.
- Maintain documents and records properly to ensure all files are kept up to date.
- Carry out other accounting functions as needed to ensure the completeness and accuracy of data on accounts.
- Confidently liaise with clients and suppliers both by phone and in person.
- Any other duties assigned by the Accounts Manager & Managing Director.
- Job rotation will occur between both Accounts Payable and Account Receivable positions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Year 13 / Form 7 education with some experience in the accounts field would be an added advantage.
- A fast learner with solid attention to detail.
- Able to work outside of Normal Working Hours at short notice.
- Excellent command of written & spoken English.
- Computer literate and be competent in the use of MS Office Package and MYOB.
- Strong organizational & time management skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision & meet tight reporting deadlines.
