We seek a passionate and highly skilled Dive & Marine Manager to lead our marine operations, delivering extraordinary guest experiences while upholding environmental stewardship.

The Opportunity:

As Dive & Marine Manager, you will oversee all aspects of diving, water sports, and marine conservation efforts at Vomo Island Resort. Ihis role requires an expert in luxury guest experiences, marine satety, and sustainable tourism. You will lead a team of professionals in providing bespoke aquatic adventures, from private diving excursions to premium water sports activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• PADI Certified Dive Instructor (minimum IDC Staff Instructor preferred).
• Proven experience managing dive operations and marine activities in luxury resorts.
• Marine surveying certification or experience with marine compliance and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams.
• Certified in First Aid, CPR, and Oxygen Provider protocols.
• Experience with vessel operations and maintenance is an advantage.
• Knowledge of sustainable tourism and marine conservation practices.

• Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Deep understanding of risk assessment, safety protocols, and compliance.

Your Responsibilities

1. Dive & Water Activities Management

• Oversee daily dive operations, ensuring world-class safety and service.
• Conduct PADI certification courses for guests and staff.
• Develop and manage exclusive water sports activities (snorkelling, paddle boarding, private boat excursions).
• Monitor weather conditions and ensure all activities adhere to safety protocols.

2. Marine Compliance & Conservation

• Conduct marine surveys to monitor reef health and biodiversity.
• Maintain compliance with marine regulations and environmental laws.

• Work closely with government and conservation agencies.
• Lead sustainability initiatives to protect Vomo Island’s marine ecosystem.

3. Equipment & Safety Management

• Ensure all dive and water sports equipment is well-maintained.
• Implement emergency response protocols and train staff in safety procedures.
• Maintain compliance with maritime regulations and operational licenses.

4. Luxury Guest Experiences

• Design and implement tailored dive and marine excursions.
• Educate guests on marine conservation while delivering engaging experiences.
• Gather feedback to enhance guest satisfaction continuously.

5. Leadership & Team Development

• Train and mentor a team of dive instructors, boat captains, and water sports staff
• Oversee staff scheduling and maintain high service standards.
• Foster a culture of professionalism, hospitality, and sustainability.
