Join Our Team as Director of Rooms at Vomo Island Resort, Fiji Are you a passionate hospitality professional dedicated to luxury service and operational excellence? Vomo Island Resort, Fiji, is seeking an experienced Director of Rooms to lead our world-class accommodations and guest services.

Duties and expectations

• Guest Experience & Operations Leadership: Ensure seamless and personalised guest experiences across all room division operations.
• Reservations & Revenue Control: Oversee daily reservations, revenue management, and VIP guest services, ensuring optimal occupancy and financial performance.
• Front Office Management: Lead and mentor the Front Office team to deliver impeccable arrivals, departures, and in-stay services.
• Housekeeping & Sustainability: Supervise Housekeeping to maintain pristine accommodations and implement eco-friendly practices.
• Residences Management: Manage private residences, including owner relations, preventive maintenance, and premium service delivery.
• Team Development: Train and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Financial & Inventory Control: Manage budgets, forecasting, and inventory across departments to optimise resources and profitability.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in luxury resort operations, particularly Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping, and Guest Services.
• Expertise in Property Management Systems (PMS), particularly Opera and SiteMinder.
• Strong background in reservations management, revenue control, and VIP guest services.
• Proven leadership experience managing large teams across multiple departments.
• Financial acumen in budget management, inventory control, and financial reconciliation.
• Knowledge of guest relations, service recovery strategies, and emergency response procedures.
• Experience managing private residences, including owner relations and billing.
• Exceptional guest service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for sustainability and continuous improvement in luxury hospitality.
