Shreedhar Motors, a highly recognized leader in Motor Industry is seeking to recruit suitably qualified, well experienced, highly motivated and performance oriented person for the position of Workshop Manager to be based at our Vatuwaga workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop.
  • Ensure the workshop operates efficiently, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) for productivity and quality.
  • Monitor vehicle service scheduling and workflow, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Help in maintaining the workshop’s cleanliness and safety standard.
  • Supervise, guide, and support the technicians and service staff in their daily tasks.
  • Assist with training and development to ensure high levels of technical competency and customer service.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Delegate tasks to technicians and ensure that they have the necessary tools and equipment to perform their work.
  • Ensure clear communication regarding service progress, completion times, and any additional work or repairs needed.
  • Ensure that the workshop is well- stocked with necessary parts and supplies.
  • Support the implementation of quality control checks to ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on workshop activities, including productivity, customer feedback and inventory status.

The candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Trade Certificate in Automotive Engineering with at least 5 years “hands-on” work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge in automotive mechanical, electrical & electronics.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills with knowledge of preparing technical reports.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues using diagnostic tools & equipment.
  • Thorough computer literacy- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
    Internet etc.
  • Possess clean valid Group 2 driving license (manual)
