Role Overview

As a Chemical Engineer at Lily Water Engineering, you will be responsible for designing, developing, operating, and maintaining systems and processes related to water treatment. You will play a crucial role in optimizing treatment operations, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining safety and quality standards across various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and supervise water treatment systems including wastewater, drinking water, boiler water, and cooling tower water systems.
• Lead the manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of water treatment equipment and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to enhance efficiency and extend the lifespan of treatment systems.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recommend improvements for existing plants and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support to project teams and liaise with suppliers, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Train junior engineers and support staff on technical procedures and plant maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• A university degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MSc, MEng, PhD) will be an added advantage and may influence final selection.
• At least 10 years of relevant hands-on experience in the chemical engineering or water treatment sector.
• Deep understanding of water chemistry, treatment methodologies, and plant operations.
• Proven expertise in the installation and repair of treatment systems and associated mechanical components.
• Strong project management, documentation, and communication skills.
