Role Summary

As a Chemical Consultant, you will provide technical guidance, strategic insight, and expert recommendations to support the manufacturing processes, water treatment systems, and safety protocols of Lily Water Engineering. This role is ideal for an industry veteran who brings not only hands-on technical knowledge but also the analytical skills required to advise and improve company-wide chemical operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide expert recommendations on chemical manufacturing processes and water treatment protocols.
• Offer strategic direction in plant setup, process optimization, chemical selection, and resource management.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enhance the efficiency and safety of ongoing projects.
• Assist in training and mentoring in-house teams on best practices in chemical handling and process safety.
• Review, update, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to chemical processes.

Required Qualifications

• A university degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MSc, PhD) will be an added advantage and are strongly considered in the selection process.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in the chemical industry, particularly in manufacturing processes and water treatment systems.
• In-depth knowledge of chemical properties, industrial formulations, and laboratory safety protocols.
• Proven track record of consulting or leading technical initiatives within similar industries.
