Tokatoka Resort invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the following position.

1.       Steward

A steward in a resort typically refers to a person responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and food service areas. Their duties often include:

• Cleaning and Sanitising: Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining Hygiene: Ensuring all food prep areas are kept clean and sanitised.
• Stocking Supplies: Restocking dishes, glasses, and other kitchenware.
• Waste Management: Disposing of garbage and recycling properly.
• Assisting Kitchen Staff: Supporting chefs and cooks by organising ingredients and equipment.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring and reporting stock levels of cleaning supplies.

• Maintain a high standard of departmental work practices.
• Commitment to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Oral and written fluency in English
• A team player, self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and be able to work unsupervised.
• Must have a clean police record and be physically fit.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager. 

Basic Qualifications

• Applicant should have at least 2 years’ experience in similar positions, dynamic, hard-working person, disciplined, adaptable and energetic. 
• Certificate from a well-recognised institute
