Site Acquisition Officer (Fixed Term)

We are seeking to hire a highly motivated individual in the role of Site Acquisition Officer to join our Technical Team in Central reporting to the HOD Technical.

As the Site Acquisition Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Site Acquisition Executive in managing the Site Acquisition process, particularly the processing of Lease Agreements.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Properly record all leases and maintain electronic copies, which must always be accessible to all relevant personnel.
  • Prepare planning applications for Town/City Councils and submit to Manager for approval.
  • Provide general administration for all site acquisition activities.
  • Assist in the Project Management process including electronically tracking and compiling the construction files required to start construction of sites.
  • Liaise with landowners for land issues, site security and maintenance.
  • Compile and submit reports to your supervisor within the expected timeframe.

Academic qualifications, Skills & Experience required for this role:

  • A diploma/Degree in Land Management.
  • Prior experience in liaising for Native or Commercial lands will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with excellent planning and organizing skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.  
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel & Access)
  • A group 2 driver’s license.
