DELI CHEF – Extra Supermarket

The Role:

Extra Supermarket is looking for a passionate and skilled Deli Chef to join our team! If you have the right skills, leadership qualities, and a love for creating delicious deli items, we want you!!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present deli food items (hot & cold).
• Develop seasonal and promotional specials to drive deli sales.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
• Supervise deli counter operations and junior staff.
• Ensure proper stock rotation and inventory.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure all recipes and portion sizes maintain consistency and profitability.
  Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar deli/kitchen role.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Flexibility with working hours.
