We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our HR department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining employee records, assisting in recruitment and onboarding processes, and ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed effectively.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide professional and business-focused Human Resources (HR) services.

Collaborate with Managers to define staffing needs and create job descriptions.

Assist in making hiring decisions and facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.

Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR Policies and Procedures while resolving employee conflicts/concerns.

Partnership with Senior Management Teams in order to identify strategic and business plans, maximizing opportunities, supporting change and organization development.

Implement and promote a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with HR policies, labour laws, and regulations.

Prepare HR reports and analytical trending data or information for improved decision making.

Assist in administering employee benefits programs. Address queries related to compensation and benefits.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management and Employment Relations from a recognized tertiary institute.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in a large corporate organisation, with a strong background in employee relations management and effective stakeholder partnership will be an added advantage.

Applicants with some knowledge of Pay Global system will have an added advantage.

Professional membership with an accredited association such as the Fiji Human Resources Institute (FHRI).
