Position Overview:

The Advertising Features Reporter creates engaging, client-focused content that aligns with commercial objectives. Responsibilities include researching and writing feature articles, interviewing clients or subjects, and ensuring content meets both editorial standards and advertiser needs.

Key responsibilities:

– Meeting with clients for advertorials;
– Writing articles for advertising features;
– Attending events and press conferences;
– Writing captions for articles;
– Able to take photographs and videos as and when required; and
– Making sure that the Fiji Times house style is adhered to

Requirements:

– Strong communication, research and creative skills are required;
– Ability to multitask and meet deadlines;
– Ability to interact well with others;
– Ability to work flexible hours to meet editorial deadlines;
– Ability to work well with little or no supervision
