The Fiji Rugby Union (FRU), based in the nation’s capital, Suva, administers the sport of Rugby Union across the country’s 14 provinces. FRU is committed to building strong pathways from grassroots to elite levels, and to developing the capabilities of players and officials both locally and internationally.

An exciting opportunity exists within the Fiji Rugby Union, and we are seeking a strategic leader and a dedicated professional to join its team in the following roles:

1. Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will lead FRU’s financial strategy and ensure robust financial governance, transparency, reporting and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for financial oversight, monitoring and report.
• Lead financial planning and comprehensive budgeting process.
• Lead innovation and improvements to policy framework, systems and processes.
• Provide strategic insights and advice to the CEO and Board.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory (international and local) and audit requirements.
• Manage financial risks and drive operational efficiency.

Qualification and Experience:

• Degree in Finance/Accounting (Fiji CA or equivalent preferred)
• More than 10 years in a senior management role.
• Experience in strategic planning, governance and business process improvements.
