COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLICITY OFFICER

The Then India Sanmarga Ikya Sangam invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of the Communication and Publicity Officer. The position encompasses planning and directing the organisation’s overall communications strategy, organisational media relations, outreach and awareness, social media liaison and promoting the organisation in positive light at all times. The person responsible heads the organisation’s communication and also consults with executive board on improving communications strategies to continually enhance service delivery.

The incumbent directly reports to the CEO on a daily basis; Maintain liaison with all National Executives for effective communications; Maintain liaison with all Sangam entities and any other duties as assigned by the CEO and the National Executives.

Qualification/Knowledge/Skills

Experience in Journalism, Media Relations, Previous working experience as Public Relations and/or Communications Specialist including social media management for three (3) or more years would be added advantage. Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills and Effective organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work cooperatively with others at all levels.

Remuneration will be commensurate based on individual’s qualification and experience.
