The Public Service Commission is seeking a well-qualified applicant for the position of Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, Strategic Planning, National Development and Statistics. This is a key leadership position responsible for leading and managing the Ministry including policy support and advice.

Eligible candidates will have high level academic qualifications and senior executive leadership experience in large and complex organisations in the private or public sector. They will have led major modernisation and change programs setting strategic direction, implementing significant and sustained change, and will have well-developed people leadership capabilities.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, including refined political nous to build strong relationships, foster stakeholder engagement, create new partnerships and drive a culture of excellence and innovation through technology, is essential.

Resilience and drive are critical personal attributes for this leadership role, and relevant academic qualifications are essential.
