Recruitment for Technical Manager (Sinohydro)

Sinohydro is currently looking for a Technical Manager to join our team. The position will be based at the Rewa River Water Supply Project Office and construction site in Naqali, Naitasiri Province, as well as other relevant locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in water conservation engineering or a similar role.

• Strong understanding of construction design, procedures, materials, and project management principles.

• Familiar with quality, occupational health and safety standards, and environmental issues.

• Knowledge of training program design and adult learning methods.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Proficiency in both Chinese and English.

• Skilled in MS Office and familiar with construction project design management software.

• Willingness to work overtime.

Qualification, Knowledge & Skills

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to determine project design and specifications.

• Handle technical discussions of the contract with WAF.

• Submit monthly reports to headquarters in China.

• Analyze complex technical problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions.

• Manage resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) with budgetary control.

• Procure and manage equipment and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels.

• Monitor project progress and prepare clear reports.

• Ensure compliance with operational health and safety standards and report issues.

• Perform other related tasks as required.
