Vacancy: 33/2025: Head of Procurement
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the incumbent, will be responsible for managing the Supply Chain section of the company. This position is a strategic role, responsible for leading the supply chain team, supporting all aspects of the supply chain by ensuring effective communication between both external and internal stakeholders and ensuring all procurements align with company strategy and goals, effective management of inventories and all company tenders. The role requires excellent planning, communication, and accounting skills including an understanding of Fiji and the global financial market.
Key Accountabilities

Manage the end-to-end procurement process for the organization in compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulation frameworks.

Effectively manage all procurement including all stakeholder communications and Third-Party transport carriers to ensure all movement of goods and delivery of goods is performed in a timely manner, including returns, recalls and urgent shipments.

Plan, develop, implement and improve Supply Chain strategy, policies and processes for the company on a regular basis keeping in mind the changing business environment and to oversee procurement governance in the organization.

Assist in compilation of the Annual Operating Plan of the company.

Develop and maintain an accurate forecast system ensuring operational activities are correctly planned and scheduled.

Develop and maintain organisations inventory as well as the inventory management system and ensure appropriate policies and processes are in place for the effective management of these.

Establish meaningful and clear KPIs that are measurable and ensure alignment with business strategy.

Effectively manage a team ensuring a culture of development and excellence.

Train staff where required to ensure the preservation of knowledge and that industry best practices are continually employed.
Qualification & Experience
-
Degree in Accounting from a recognized tertiary institution and a qualified CPA.

More than 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications.

Possess Analytical, Financial, and Documentation skills.
