TUBE MILL OPERATOR

LOCATION: Based in Lautoka

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 5-8 years’ experience operating steel tube mill machinery or in a metal-processing environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma, vocational training, or technical certification (mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing field preferred).

Knowledge:

Deep knowledge of steel tube mill operations, roll forming, or related production processes.

Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, gauges, and measurement tools.

• Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude for adjusting machine settings.

• Ability to work in shifts and handle physically demanding tasks.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Safety:

Understanding of machine safety procedures and industrial workplace standards.

Role:

• Operate and monitor steel tube mill machines to ensure continuous and efficient production.

• Set up machines, including roll changes, tooling adjustments, and alignment.

• Inspect tubes for quality, dimensions, and surface finish according to specifications.

• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, proper PPE usage, and company policies.

• Maintain production logs, quality reports, and documentation.
