PRODUCTION MANAGER

About Us:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead and oversee all operational aspects of our food manufacturing facility at Southern Cross Foods Pte Limited, Ba. The successful candidate will ensure that production targets, efficiency levels, and quality standards are consistently achieved while maintaining strict compliance with Food Safety requirements.

Role Description:

• Oversee end-to-end production operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.

• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on orders, forecasts, and capacity requirements.

• Ensure full compliance with Food Safety and Quality Management Systems, including GMP, HACCP, and internal production specifications.

• Implement corrective and preventative actions to address deviations from quality or safety standards.

• Collaborate with the logistics and procurement teams to coordinate timely material availability and optimal stock levels.

• Support initiatives such as value-added production, process optimisation, and new product development.

• Monitor and review departmental performance, ensuring delivery of objectives across cost, quality, customer service, sanitation, safety, and environmental metrics.

• Prepare and present production reports, KPIs, and operational challenges to senior management.

• Manage and control shift inventories to ensure accurate and efficient shop order processing.

• Effectively schedule resources and manpower across multiple functions; guide, mentor, and train production staff.

• Actively participate in internal and external Food Safety Audits and support audit readiness.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Degree or relevant tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in a food production environment in a managerial role.

• Strong working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, Food Safety Management Systems, and root-cause analysis methodologies.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.

• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

• Flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to support operational needs as required.
