EXPORT FINANCE OFFICER

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Export Finance Officer to support and manage the financial activities related to export operations based at CJ Patel(Pacific) Pte Limited in Lami. The role includes export finance processing, costing, and ensuring compliance with trade and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of export-related transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process export finance documentation, including invoices, and shipping documents.

• Prepare and review product and shipment costing, ensuring accuracy in cost components such as materials, logistics, insurance, and overheads.

• Analyse cost variances and provide timely insights to management for decision-making.

• Monitor export receivables and ensure timely follow-ups with banks and customers.

• Coordinate with logistics, sales, production, and finance teams to ensure accurate and efficient transaction flows.

• Ensure all export transactions comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and international trade standards.

• Prepare periodic reports on export finance activities, costing analysis, and outstanding positions.

• Support risk assessment and mitigation activities related to export financing and costing.

• Liaise with banks, customers, auditors, and relevant authorities on export finance matters.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum [2] years of experience in finance and costing.

• Strong understanding of letters of credit, export documentation, costing methodologies, etc. is desirable.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
