South Sea Cruises Group is recruiting for experienced maritime professionals to join Blue Lagoon Cruises, operating boutique cruise liners and maintaining vessel machinery throughout the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a boutique cruise liner and relieve the Vessel Master when needed
- Manage on board crew
- Ensure Passenger safety and satisfaction
- Ensure company policy, standards and procedures are followed and maintained
- Operate and maintain all main engines, generators, pumps, etc.
- Perform regular checks of all machinery spaces, bilges, voids, and tanks to ensure they are clean, dry, and free from hazards.
- Carry out R&M works in cabins, public areas etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during voyages, coordinate with the workshop team for any major repairs or replacements.
Requirements
- Relevant valid COC and associated short courses.
- At least 2 years of experience in the above roles.
- Stay on our vessel, in staff accommodation depending on your roster and location
- Sound knowledge of the Mamanuca and Yasawa waters
