The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change seeks a qualified consultant or firm to develop a comprehensive National Protected Area Policy that provides a unified framework for the establishment, governance, management, and sustainable financing of terrestrial and marine protected areas in Fiji.
Key Responsibilities
- Review relevant PA/MPA legislation and policies
- Conduct policy and legislative gap analysis
- Facilitate stakeholder consultations
- Draft and finalize the National Protected Area Policy for Cabinet consideration
Requirements
- LLB with admission to practice in Fiji (mandatory)
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in environmental/natural resource law or policy
- Proven policy drafting and consultation experience
- Knowledge of Fiji’s environmental and customary governance frameworks

FJD$49,000.00
