Strategic financial and accounting leader responsible for overseeing all financial, accounting, supply chain management, and information technology activities for both Hotel and Airline operations to ensure alignment with annual business plans and optimization of performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Hotel’s strategic financial, accounting, supply chain, and IT leader.
- Provide direction and planning to align operations with established strategies.
- Enforce internal accounting controls and manage financial matters in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop, implement, and uphold policies for financial accounting, reporting, supply chain, and IT activities, ensuring compliance with audit, tax, and data protection regulations.
- Supervise accounting staff, including tasks such as cash reconciliations, income audit, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Coordinate financial and operational reporting, ensuring compliance with company directives and guidelines.
- Conduct cost analysis and implement mitigating measures, recommend forecast adjustments Etc.
- Oversee audit and tax functions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, including data protection and tax regulations.
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasting and approve cash disbursements.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure technology supports financial and operational needs while adhering to audit, tax, and data protection standards.
- Oversee supply chain management to ensure efficient procurement and distribution, with attention to audit, tax, and data protection guidelines.
Requirements
- Must have a Group 2 driving license.
- Must have 2 years hospitality experience with a valid trade license & qualifications.
- Must be able to live and work in a remote island environment and community.
