We are looking for skilled and experienced Accountant to fill a key role.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts (income, expenses, assets, liabilities)
- Ensure records comply with Fiji accounting standards and laws
- Prepare and file tax returns with FRCS
- Handle VAT, PAYE, FNPF, FBT where applicable
- Ensure deadlines are met to avoid penalties
- Prepare financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Support audits and provide reports to management, owners, or regulators
- Assist businesses with budgeting and forecasting
- Help control costs and improve profitability
- Process salaries and wages
- Calculate PAYE, FNPF contributions, and other statutory deductions
- Ensure employees are paid correctly and on time
- Set up systems to prevent fraud and errors
- Ensure proper financial procedures are followed
- Any other duties assigned by the management
Requirements
- A Bachelors in accounting and Financial Management.
- At least 3-5 years’ work experience.
Salary
