Amalgamated Telecom Holdings (ATH) / ATH Group of Companies is seeking a FINANCIAL REPORTING LEAD. To oversee and manage the company’s financial reporting processes. The position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of the company’s financial reporting processes. The incumbent will take the lead role in the monthly/annual consolidation report preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, and other key financial reports to internal and external stakeholders. The role supports the Finance Manager in statutory and management reporting, and ensures strong financial controls, governance, and process improvement across the ATH group.
Key Responsibilities
- Take lead in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end group consolidation for multi-currency entities preparation in accordance with IFRS / applicable accounting standards.
- Manage foreign currency translation, intercompany eliminations, and consolidation journals.
- Manage the end-to-end financial reporting process, including the consolidation, analysis, and presentation of financial data.
- Manage the End-to-end transaction execution, including financial due diligence, business case validation, and identification of commercial, regulatory, and operational risks.
- Build and maintain robust financial models to evaluate returns on group investment and cash flow position.
- Conduct post-transaction integration by continuously reviewing and tracking KPIs, monitoring performance, and ensuring synergy realization – ie cost optimisation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting OR an equivalent advanced degree with in-depth knowledge and expertise in financial reporting, and financial modelling.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Financial Reporting.
- Candidates working towards specialized Master’s in Finance or Financial Analysis OR Certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- In-depth understanding of financial markets, industry trends, and the ability to evaluate the viability and profitability of current entities/market.
- Collaborative team player with a results-driven mindset.
