Job Title: CONSULTANTS TO CONDUCT THE EVALUATION OF THE LATE STAGE OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PREVENTING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IN FAITH SETTINGS IN FIJI (PVAWFFS) PROJECT. The purpose of this Evaluation of the Late – Stage Implementation of the Project that covers the period October 2023 to September 2026 is to establish the extent to which the interventions/activities undertaken are making a contribution to the overall project goal. The evaluation will assess the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of the interventions undertaken to date and the impact they had on the target beneficiaries. In particular the evaluators will assess the extent to which the project is achieving or likely to achieve the overall objectives and goals. The findings and recommendations will inform any potential follow-up phase by HoS. The consultants will evaluate the project’s strengths and challenges, identify lessons learnt and recommendations for the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct an evaluation of the late stage of implementation for the project covering October 2023 to September 2026.
- Evaluation of the project’s three components:
- Programme on Gender Equality Theology
- Adapted SASA! Faith community mobilisation programme in Toga community
- Empower & build capacity of HoS to influence policy development at community and national level.
- Undertake this consultancy within 30 days.
Requirements
- Consultants with demonstrated expertise, experience and competences in technical evaluation, gender equality and sensitive, rights-based and ethical research and projects’ development and management.
- Proof of previous experience in undertaking similar assignments and documentation of previous work with recognized organizations/institutions.
- Knowledge of the OECD DAC Criteria would be an advantage.
