COORDINATOR – Climate Talk Community Fund (Fiji)

Climate Talk is a small Suva-based NGO working with climate displaced/relocated communities on gender responsive and action-oriented research and projects, including on loss and damage.

We seek a motivated individual, with a strong background in climate change, environment, or development studies to lead program coordination, resource mobilization, and community engagement. The role will start immediately, initially remote, and work under the guidance of the CTCF Board via its Chair.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Project planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation & budgeting;
  • Resource mobilization, including grants proposal development and donor outreach;
  • Report writing;
  • Climate advocacy and issue analysis;
  • Logistics planning, convening community consultations & facilitation skills;
  • Microsoft applications (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Canva and managing social media visibility;
  • Fluent English (written & oral); iTaukei language an advantage;
  • Previous experience in climate work on displacement/relocation is an added advantage.

Salary

Will be based on relevant experience.
