DUTY MANAGER
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager in managing Front office functions. The Duty Manager is a visible point of contact for guests and responsible for providing check-in, check-out and related services and assisting guests with queries and information pertaining to accommodation with the Resort. The Duty Manager is also responsible for maximizing accommodation sales, managing Front Desk operations, attend to emergency cases, supervision and training staff; and ensuring that Front Office policies and procedures are implemented.
Key Responsibilities
- assisting the Front Office Manager in managing Front office functions
- providing check-in, check-out and related services and assisting guests with queries and information pertaining to accommodation with the Resort
- maximizing accommodation sales, managing Front Desk operations, attend to emergency cases, supervision and training staff; and ensuring that Front Office policies and procedures are implemented
Requirements
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Well versed with computer systems, knowledge of Opera is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Front Office standards and operating procedures.
- Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
