The General Manager Human Resources is a critical executive leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering FNPF’s human capital strategy, organisational culture and workforce capability to support the Fund’s Strategic Plan and long-term sustainability for its members.
This leadership role requires a close working relationship with the Chief Executive Officer, providing strategic advice to the Executive Leadership Team, Board and lead all people related functions across the organisation. This role requires a highly credible and diplomatically skilled HR executive with a strong understanding of the Fijian and regional labour environment and proven experience leading complex, multi stakeholder people operations within a large, regulated organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing strategic leadership and advice to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board on human capital, workforce risk, culture, succession and organisational health.
- Leading the development and implementation of FNPF’s workforce strategy, aligned to the Strategic Plan and future capability needs.
- Driving organisational culture, values, leadership development and change initiatives across the Fund.
- Overseeing all HR operations including employee and industrial relations, recruitment, payroll, performance management, remuneration and compliance.
- Leading digital HR transformation, HRIS modernisation and the use of workforce analytics to support executive decision making.
- Strengthen organisational learning systems and coaching culture within the HR team and across the divisions.
- Championing employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and occupational health and safety.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, Organisational Development, Psychology or related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of senior HR leadership experience, preferably within large, complex or regulated organisation.
- Demonstrated experience leading HR transformation, culture change and digital HR initiatives.
- Strong strategic, financial, analytical and risk management capability.
- Proven ability to influence Boards, senior executives, regulators and diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
